My best friend was out of the country when I was expecting my baby, so she hosted a baby shower after my baby was born. Since I had the necessities by then, she had a favorite books theme. Each guest brought a book (or two or three) that was their favorite as a child. We got supplied with wonderful classics like “Where the Wild Things Are,” “Herald and the Purple Crayon,” and “ for Ducklings” as well as tons of board books. It was my favorite shower!
