Frozen Casserole Party

One of the showers that I recently did was a casserole party. It sounds a little different, but instead of gifts, each guest brings a frozen casserole or dinner that the parents-to-be can REALLY appreciate after baby is here.

This is a wonderful shower for a 2nd or 3rd or more time around mom whose spare time for cooking will be minimal. Along with the casserole, each guest writes down the recipe and, for a game, the host can provide recipe cards for everyone to copy down the recipes that they would like to try.

For party favors we have given out cake pans and cookie sheets tied with a pink (or blue) ribbon. It was a real hit with everyone.
