Pamper the Girls

This will only work if you know that the baby is a girl. My sister gave me a shower that she called "Pamper the Girls", and the idea was for the guests to either bring diapers to "pamper" the baby or something to "pamper" the mom. She came up with a cute little rhyme to go along with the theme to put on the invitation that helped to explain the idea to the guests. We got lots of diapers, which was very helpful, and I got all kinds of goodies (lotions, gift certificates for massages, catered meals for after the baby came, pajamas, bath soaps, etc.). It was lots of fun.
