Scrapbook Shower

This can be led by a scrapbooking company consultant or without. Each guest will receive (in their invitations) a theme (or two) for a page in Baby's First Year scrapbook - (e.g. first bath, first solid food, me and grandma, sleeping, crawling, standing, etc). If the shower is not led by a consultant, the guests purchase embellishments and decorative papers for their 12x12 page or spread before the party. The host provides background cardstock, ink, and tools, or everyone brings theirs to let everyone share at the party. It may also be a good idea to have everyone chip in for supplies in lieu of gifts, but make sure they know this ahead of time. At the party, the guests complete their pages together and assemble them all in a nice album for the mommy-to-be.
