Three Wishes

It was my best friend's 3rd baby. She had a boy and a girl, so she wasn't in need of clothes, blankets, bottles ,and things like that. So, we let her make three wishes. She could wish for anything that she wanted to (i.e. some money to pre-pay some daycare b/c with three kids now it is really expensive, maybe a crib that she wants or even money for a car repair to make sure her car was running safely for her three kids). Then we had all the guests send us their money before the shower so we could get gift certificates made up for each one of her wishes. As a bonus, some guests picked up a few extra small gifts on their own. We served fruit and made fruit centerpieces on our own to keep costs down for us. The shower was a hit.
