Las Vegas
Contributed by Carrie

For my girlfriend's second baby, second girl, I wanted to do something different. She loves Las Vegas! For the invites I used the "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada" sign with the shower information. I covered the table with green felt to look like a card table. We had a Las Vegas Buffet, with a "Fabulous" Cheesecake for dessert. The cheesecake was decorated with HUGE dice, bright feathers, playing cards, and poker chips.

I asked everyone to dress up as someone/thing they would find in Vegas. We had a bride, a grandma, grandpa tourist couple, Elvis, a card dealer, and a showgirl. The games we played were "Name that Elvis tune", the card game 21, oh, and we made babies out of bazooka (just cause I think it is funny!)

I had gift bags (black and white lunch bags) that I picked up at the Dollar Store. I decorated these with playing cards, fake money, and poker chips. (also from the Dollar Store).

Dice in a Bottle
Contributed by anonymous

MATERIALS: 2 dice, baby bottle, empty plastic baby wipe container with the top off, wrapped prizes in the center of the room.

Games is timed for ten minutes. Everyone sits in a circle and takes turns shaking the dice in the bottle and throwing them into the baby wipe container. If a guest throws doubles, they get a prize from the center of the room.

After all the prizes are gone, dice winners take prizes from the other winners. When the ten minutes is up, whoever has a prize gets to keep it.
