Usually the fathers are not invited to the baby showers nor do they usually care to attend. This is a sort of shower the best friend of the father throws. It is called a "Diaper Party". Each friend brings one bag of diapers for the "father to be". They can sit around drinking beer and watching the game while still participating in and celebrate the coming birth of the baby.
