In this type of shower where you pick something you want to spell out. For example, the baby's name, the mother to be's name, the parents name, etc. You then find baby gifts that match up with that letter. You send one letter of the word with the invitation to each person. The guest are to buy a gift that starts with that letter. You can give the guest some ideas and also let them be creative. "H" for high chair, "D" for diaper bag, etc.
