If you are not having a Couples Shower or if you have children that will not be attending the shower, you will have to figure out what to do with them for the day. Don’t take it for granted that your husband (or boyfriend) will figure it all out beforehand. Get a few things to keep him occupied.
Purchase some passes to a game or the movies. Get some coupons for a play place. Map out some ideas with your significant other before the shower and let him choose what he and the kids will be doing on the day of the shower.
If your spouse is anything like mine, you will need to “Remind, remind, remind.” Make sure that he remembers the date of the shower and that he is having a dad and kids day. This is all part of the prep work of getting your house in order before the shower. On the day of the event, you can give him a kiss on the cheek, and send him out the door.
