Someday I'll grow up
to run in a race,
Climb a tall mountain
or travel in space,

Or win the Olympics,
or play the French horn—
But today I’m just waiting
my day to be born.

Poem 1, version 2 - after baby:

Someday I’ll grow up
to run in a race,
To climb a tall mountain
or travel in space. 

Or win the Olympics
or play a French horn,
I can do anything
now that I’ve been born!
