I planned a shower for a friend who had everything!!! I took a pack of playing cards and 2 boxes.
I had the boxes set up at the door and as each guest entered they could "buy" a card. There was no set price, just whatever they felt like putting in box 1.
Whenever a card was bought, I cut it in half and gave one half to the guest and put the other half in box 2.
At the end of the shower the mom-to-be drew a card from box 2 and whoever had the matching half of the card won a $10 to $15 dollar gift certificate for somewhere (I chose a pizza place).
The money in box 1 was given to the mom-to-be, so a little extra gift could be bought for baby!
